Nova Martin

Team Lead and Lower North Island Nutritionist

nova.martin@foodstuffs.co.nz

Nova is one of our long-standing Nutritionists, delivering Food for Thought since 2011, and is also the Team Lead, supporting wider delivery and alignment of the programme. She holds a BSc in Human Nutrition from Massey University, a Diploma in Public Health, and is a qualified chef.

Nova has a strong passion for all things food and is especially interested in how we talk about food with young people. As a mum of two, she brings real-life insight into how powerful language and role modelling can be in shaping children’s relationships with food.

Outside of work, you’ll find Nova at the gym, out on the hockey field, or you might spot her in a Warriors top, cheering them on.

In her free time, she enjoys an active lifestyle filled with running, surfing, tennis, and chasing after her toddler.
